In this course we examine the fundamentals of interest rates.
We start things off with a practical investigation of the concepts of simple and compound interest rates.
Next we investigate discounting and what is meant by effective interest rates before concluding with a discussion of compound and discount factors – an understanding of which will ease calculations with multiple cashflows.
